I read the live puzzle number from the schedule in the poople.io client and walked PAIN on the 2,398-word graph. Alphabetical order gave me PAIN → LAIN → LOIN → LOON → LOOP → POOP. When the same search is run on #410 it reproduces the published FOES line, which is why I trust the method.
