How to play Poople

Get to POOP in as few steps as possible. Each word must be exactly one letter different from the last, and every step has to be a word the game accepts. [1]

The first time I loaded poople.io a dialog covered the board. It said the game was invented to keep a family occupied on road trips, then it showed BARN over BORN with the changed vowel marked. I closed it and puzzle #411, PAIN, was waiting. [1]

Read the day's start word. On September 30, 2026, that word was PAIN for puzzle #411. [1]
Change exactly one letter. BARN to BORN is the picture the game uses. [1]
Land on POOP. Fewer steps is better. The client stores a par for each puzzle. [1, 2]
