I walked SAVE forward one letter at a time on the 2,398-word graph. Alphabetical neighbor order produced SAVE → SAME → SOME → POME → POMP → POOP. I am publishing that route because the length matches the client's par.

  1. SAVE → SAME: letter 3 changes from V to M.
  2. SAME → SOME: letter 2 changes from A to O.
